If you’d like to sell your precious metals from your storage account, you can open up your HAA profile and complete the following steps (the screenshot below is just a sample and is not indicative of your personal portfolio.)
- Login to your HAA account online and scroll down until you see HOLDINGS
- Select SELL
- Choose which assets you would like to sell
- Enter the quantity, e.g. 1
- Acknowledge all sales are final and select CONFIRM
Once you sell, it takes two full business days from the trade date for the transaction to settle if you wish to withdraw funds. By default, sale proceeds are deposited into your Hard Assets Alliance account, where you can use them to purchase other assets or request a withdrawal via check or wire to your bank.
Similar to an online brokerage account, trade proceeds are typically available for reinvestment within minutes during trading hours. However, withdrawals can only be initiated after settlement is complete — two full business days from the trade date and after 5:15 PM EST.
If you wish to withdraw by wire, please be sure you have this bank on file with us, please be sure to add the same bank used at the time you funded for your investments.
